Today's Scripture
Before we can know the divinity of Christ we must be made new creatures. The old nature, sin-stained and fallen, is incapable of knowing Him. A new life and a new nature must be ours before we can know Him Who is the image of the invisible God, and in Whose image we have been created only then shall we know Him as " the true God "
Colossians 1:15 "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation."
Colossians 3:10 "and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created Him."
I John 5: 20 "And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life."
